Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim’s career journey started in 1987, after finishing his 9th standard in school, because he desired to participate in home responsibilities along with his dad. He felt a great responsibility to support his dad in running his home – they are 6 brothers and 6 sisters along with father and mother – so one more independent earning would help, he believed.
And to commence his career journey, the first step was to look for a job in ADNOC. But he also went to Etisalat with the thought that he needs to apply in more than one place. And he did get the first call from Etisalat to write the English exam. In a week, he got to know that he was one of the five who fared well in the exam. He was also accepted to join the Etisalat Training School, and he enrolled in studying basic engineering for a period of two years. And steadily, Etisalat became his career path from 1990 till 2013.
During his studies he was getting high marks and being the best among his classmates. And during this period, Mohamed was playing handball in one of the UAE clubs, and he had also been selected for the UAE Youth team. However, he stopped going to the club to concentrate on his studies and to add that, during those days such achievement was rare. But being driven by purpose he continued working on his English language by practicing it with the people and bought a typewriter, so he could type in new words and make his own dictionary for new English words that he was learning. This strategy strengthened his language, and his performance in class reflected it.
Upon completion of his studies and obtaining all the necessary qualifications in the telecommunication field that made him ready for the job, he was selected to be in the Planning Department. In Etisalat Dr. Ibrahim grew with hard core skills and then from 2013 till date he is with Dubai Government Human Resources Department, and he must say the many faculties of his skill world is being resourcefully utilized and the journey is being supported by continuous trainings of skills at his own training center SMART INSPIRATION UAE TRAINING.
Making a Difference
SMART INSPIRATION UAE TRAINING center believes in training with a scientific edge. Ever since they stepped into the learnings of science-based Personality Development and Behavioral Skills namely RGB Analyses, they have embarked into a path of continuous learnings and the trainings have evolved into food and health, sound and health, understanding learning behaviors of people, functional behaviors and emotional quotient along with where the child or adult manages best or where support is needed for behavior and eventually personality.
Personality development means molding one’s character in a way that makes them unique from the other person. The process involves several steps of self-development with processes to be followed, to impact behavior and personality. Developing one’s persona means working on one’s meal plan, physical activities which impacts skill development. Personality Development with SMART INSPIRATION UAE TRAINING with RGB Analysis means knowing the potential abilities and transforming them into capabilities. One of the key training courses of SMART INSPIRATION UAE TRAINING is about training skills with an in-depth understanding of behavioral skills towards influencing personality.
Learning – a way of life
Life is a paradigm of learnings and learnings and when Dr. Mohamed sees challenges, he puts on his learning hat so he can steadily swim out. There is no challenge, which one doesn’t learn from, and this is what he likes about life. When he joined Etisalat, and got trained there, it was the first career path, but his interest to learn English, won him the good books of the planning department who chose him to join them as the department was open to someone who could fluently speak both languages.
His work phase started as an employee in the Permits Granting Department (No Objection Certificate) for all Utility Services, Road works project, Villas, Buildings, and sheds within industrial areas where owners’ representatives and consultants would prepare the building structural designs, abiding by Etisalat standard conduits and wiring requirement in the design. And once the construction was completed Etisalat representative would inspect the site to ensure that building was completed from inside and outside of the compound according to Etisalat conduits and wiring standards, then Etisalat would issue a Completion Certificate to the contractors. This strength supported the quality assurance required for such workspaces.
It was a new terrain of learning for him, and he accepted it. Another curiosity for which he is grateful to Etisalat was to take care of the block wiring drawings for all the buildings in the northern areas of Etisalat. Being ready to face challenges in Etisalat, the Planning Department and Forecast Section of the Commercial Department stood together, to exchange the data of newly developed areas. He worked here as the coordinator of the Planning Department to ensure that these new developed areas are reflected in our base maps record, and also coordinating with planners in the latest new areas which needed cable/civil projects.
Then came the opportunity to be a cartographer when Dr. Ibrahim used his cartographic tools, and he simply loved it. His love for facing challenges gave him an opening in the transmission and switching section which was like an icing on the cake with him as he always loved, and he still loved to know the latest technology. And not only that, as Etisalat moved into new era to play a vital role in sustainability to protect the green environment through the conversion of the available hard copy drawings into digitized one, using the Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) system to digitize the basemaps according to the given coordinates of the center point in the country ensuring that, these maps are positioned according to the physical locations. He took the role of the system administrator for all the projects in Sharjah city. And after the CAD systems, they introduced a new system called Geographic Information System (GIS) to link the drawings with the database. His profession in this field is more than 10 years, where he began to train all Planning Department staff on how to use it, and coordinate with the head Office to reflect all the updates, and as representative of Etisalat in all projects of Utility Services. As an outcome of GIS, a new major project introduced was called the Work Order Collaboration System where the approach is automating the drawings of the underground civil and cable projects, with the database.
Dr. Mohamed says, ‘ Today with the drone activation laws being under study in UAE, the knowledge of GIS is inevitable.’
What’s new?
Here, Dr. Mohamed would like to dwell on the science of RGB Analysis – when he first decided to learn and be a significant knowledge partner of this science, it was for evolving behaviors and thus personalities, but then he did not embark on neurodivergent individuals or did not know how far food would be an integral part of all the learners, but steadily he realized that the science cannot go further without the knowledge of Psycho optics which is nutrition for mental health- where gut health is the key factor. Therefore, the team and he embarked on learning Psychobiotics as a needed add-on to RGB Analysis.
Thereafter, they needed to know how 9 Multiple Intelligence will add further value to RGB Analysis, and they believed that strengthening the 9 Multiple Intelligence which is already inborn is an integral step. Later, they added Child Behavior and Child Development so that behavior of the child can be understood as early as in the womb of the mother. Today his team is into Sound and Health because during the learning path, they have realized that our body cells respond to sound. The path he has opted to have a training center is different as Dr. Mohamed believes that education is holistic.
Upscale Thinking
Personality Development and Behavioral Skills is the critical area one needs to focus on. Passion and career cannot have the strength to perform if the diet, physical activities or sleep are compromised. Talent is not enough; discipline is the king of success.
His love for learning has supported him throughout life journeys, therefore he believes in continuous learning, so they evolve each day. He is on this thought process till date that – “ As we all have a purpose on planet earth and only, we can fulfill that purpose as a giving to self and a contribution to those around us – thus imparting our learnings to all are service to mankind. I believe that if I could add many drops in the making of an ocean, then I would have touched many lives and reached out to many. But to reach out, I need to be full. Therefore, I fill myself with knowledge and then impart it.”
