Transforming Organizations Through the Power of People
In an era defined by rapid technological advancement, evolving workforce expectations, and constant organizational change, businesses often focus on systems, processes, and strategies to maintain competitive advantage. Yet behind every successful transformation lies a far more powerful catalyst: people. Organizations thrive when leaders inspire trust, teams collaborate effectively, and individuals are empowered to reach their full potential.
Few professionals understand this reality better than Joanna Purdy, CEO of JET Delivers. Recognized as one of The Most Influential Facilitators in Organizational Growth to Watch in 2026, Joanna has built an impressive career helping leaders, teams, and organizations unlock sustainable performance through leadership development, coaching, facilitation, and transformational learning experiences.
With a career spanning multiple industries, cultures, and continents, Joanna’s journey reflects resilience, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to helping people succeed. Through JET Delivers, she has become a trusted partner to organizations globally, enabling leaders to navigate complexity while fostering stronger workplace relationships, improved team cohesion, and lasting behavioral change.
A Career Built Around People
Joanna Purdy’s professional journey did not begin with a clear roadmap toward leadership development. In fact, her academic background was firmly rooted in commerce. However, it did not take long for her to realize that her true passion lay elsewhere.
While many of her peers were drawn toward analytical or finance-focused careers, Joanna found herself energized by human interaction. She wanted to understand what motivates people, how teams function, and how leaders can bring out the best in others.
Her first leadership role came as a management trainee in a retail department store. The experience proved transformational. She quickly discovered the satisfaction that comes from developing people and helping teams achieve exceptional results. As she progressed through the leadership ranks, she gained firsthand experience in customer engagement, employee development, and operational excellence.
Her leadership capabilities became evident early. Through dedication, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement, Joanna eventually became the company’s youngest Store Manager and received the prestigious Australian Young Retailer of the Year Award.
Yet this was only the beginning of a much larger journey.
Learning Across Cultures and Continents
Life soon presented Joanna with opportunities that would profoundly shape her worldview.
After marrying, she embarked on an international journey that took her across eight countries outside Australia. Living and working in diverse cultural environments required flexibility, resilience, and an openness to learning.
Throughout these years, she held roles spanning sales, marketing, education, and leadership. One particularly unique chapter saw her serve as Principal of the Pakistan Embassy International School in Ankara, Turkey.
These experiences exposed Joanna to different leadership styles, cultural expectations, and workplace dynamics. More importantly, they reinforced a universal truth she observed repeatedly regardless of geography, industry, or background.
People want to feel valued.
Whether in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, or Australia, individuals perform at their best when they feel respected, understood, and included.
This realization would later become a cornerstone of her leadership philosophy.
Discovering Her Purpose
The defining turning point in Joanna’s career occurred while she was living in the United Arab Emirates.
Working in sales for a training company, she developed a strong reputation for her consultative approach and ability to connect with clients. One client was particularly impressed and requested that Joanna train the sales teams within their rapidly growing organization.
What initially appeared to be a simple professional opportunity quickly became a life-changing experience.
After receiving training in the company’s sales methodology, Joanna began facilitating workshops and development programs. Over the following years, she trained sales professionals, supervisors, and leaders throughout the organization.
For the first time, she discovered a professional calling that combined her strengths, passions, and desire to create meaningful impact.
Watching individuals gain confidence, develop new capabilities, and achieve better results brought a level of fulfillment she had never experienced before.
She had found her purpose.
The Birth of a Transformational Approach
Joanna’s passion for development continued to evolve when she relocated to Thailand and became an accredited executive coach.
Coaching introduced a different dimension of learning and transformation.
Rather than focusing solely on knowledge transfer, coaching created opportunities for deeper self-discovery. Leaders explored limiting beliefs, challenged assumptions, and uncovered solutions that already existed within themselves.
Joanna quickly realized that coaching and facilitation complemented one another perfectly.
Training could provide knowledge and frameworks.
Coaching could create awareness, accountability, and sustainable action.
Together, they formed a powerful engine for transformation.
Driven by a desire to better understand human behavior, Joanna invested extensively in professional development. She became certified in a wide range of behavioral and psychometric assessments, including MBTI, DISC, Hogan, Harrison Assessments, GlobeSmart, Emotional Intelligence, and CliftonStrengths.
These tools allowed her to help leaders better understand themselves while improving their ability to work effectively with others.
Launching JET Delivers
In 2019, Joanna transformed her vision into reality by launching JET Delivers in Singapore.
The company’s mission was clear: help organizations achieve extraordinary results by intentionally investing in people.
Unlike many traditional training providers, JET Delivers was built on practical leadership experience rather than purely theoretical concepts.
Joanna understood the daily realities leaders face because she had lived them herself.
Her workshops were designed around authentic leadership challenges, practical tools, and real-world application. Participants were encouraged to reflect on their own experiences, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop actionable strategies that could immediately improve performance.
Organizations quickly recognized the value of this approach.
Then the world changed.
Thriving Through Uncertainty
When COVID-19 disrupted global business operations, countless organizations struggled to adapt.
As a relatively new company, JET Delivers faced significant uncertainty. Workshop bookings disappeared almost overnight, and many businesses postponed development initiatives.
Rather than retreat, Joanna responded with agility.
She asked a simple but powerful question:
“What do leaders need most right now?”
The answer was clear.
Leaders needed resilience.
They needed strategies for managing remote teams.
They needed tools for maintaining engagement, connection, and productivity during unprecedented disruption.
JET Delivers quickly redesigned its learning experiences into highly interactive virtual programs that focused on the realities leaders were facing.
The result was remarkable.
Organizations embraced the practical and engaging approach, and Joanna’s reputation as an innovative facilitator continued to grow across the region.
Why Learning Must Extend Beyond the Classroom
One of Joanna’s most significant insights emerged from observing participant behavior after workshops concluded.
Leaders frequently left sessions energized, motivated, and committed to change.
Yet many struggled to sustain that momentum once daily responsibilities returned.
Urgent priorities often replaced important developmental goals.
Good intentions faded under pressure.
This observation fundamentally reshaped Joanna’s methodology.
Today, JET Delivers emphasizes learning journeys rather than isolated training events.
Workshops serve as the starting point for transformation, not the destination.
By integrating coaching, accountability structures, reflection opportunities, and ongoing support, participants are more likely to implement meaningful behavioral change.
This blended approach significantly improves the likelihood of long-term success.
Transforming Teams, Not Just Individuals
As Joanna worked more closely with organizations, she recognized another common challenge.
Many performance issues were not caused by inadequate leadership capability.
They were caused by poor team cohesion.
Even highly talented individuals can struggle when trust is lacking, communication is ineffective, or priorities are misaligned.
Recognizing this, JET Delivers expanded its focus to include customized team transformation programs designed to strengthen collaboration, trust, and accountability.
Through carefully facilitated conversations, experiential learning activities, and practical frameworks, teams gain deeper understanding of one another while developing stronger working relationships.
The results often extend far beyond productivity improvements.
Organizations experience stronger cultures, improved employee engagement, and greater organizational resilience.
A Defining Client Success Story
One engagement particularly reinforced Joanna’s commitment to organizational transformation.
A Managing Director approached her seeking support after significant organizational changes had negatively impacted team performance.
Despite everyone’s best efforts, collaboration had deteriorated, trust had eroded, and performance was suffering.
Through executive coaching and facilitated team sessions, Joanna helped uncover the root causes of the challenges.
The issue was not capability.
It was connection.
By creating a safe environment for honest dialogue, the team was able to openly discuss frustrations, clarify expectations, and establish new ways of working together.
Over time, trust increased, communication improved, and collaboration strengthened.
Equally important, the Managing Director gained valuable insights into how her own leadership behaviors influenced team dynamics.
The transformation reinforced Joanna’s belief that sustainable change begins when leaders and teams are given the opportunity to genuinely understand one another.
Leadership in the Age of AI
As organizations increasingly adopt artificial intelligence and automation technologies, Joanna believes the human side of leadership will become even more important.
Technology can improve efficiency.
It can automate tasks.
It can provide valuable data and insights.
But it cannot replace empathy, trust, judgment, and authentic human connection.
The future belongs to organizations that successfully combine technological innovation with strong people leadership.
Leaders must learn to navigate increasingly diverse workplaces while fostering psychological safety, inclusion, and engagement.
For Joanna, the future of leadership is not about choosing between technology and humanity.
It is about integrating both.
Building a Lasting Leadership Legacy
Recognizing that leadership growth requires ongoing reinforcement, Joanna created the Leadership Legacy Lounge, a community designed to support continuous learning long after formal training programs conclude.
Through monthly development themes, practical resources, peer discussions, guest experts, and leadership conversations, participants continue their growth journey in a supportive environment.
The initiative reflects Joanna’s belief that leadership is not a destination but a lifelong process of learning, reflection, and adaptation.
Recognition Rooted in Purpose
Being recognized as one of The Most Influential Facilitators in Organizational Growth to Watch in 2026 represents more than personal achievement for Joanna Purdy.
It reflects the countless leaders, teams, and organizations she has partnered with throughout her career.
It validates a simple but powerful truth:
When organizations invest intentionally in their people, extraordinary things happen.
Through JET Delivers, Joanna continues to help leaders discover their strengths, build meaningful relationships, and create cultures where people can thrive.
As businesses navigate an increasingly complex future, her message remains clear and compelling:
People are every organization’s greatest asset. When people grow, organizations grow with them.
